On August 7, 2020 at 1:12 a.m. EST, SpaceX launched its ninth (tenth overall) batch of Starlink satellites from Space Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Also onboard were two Earth observation microsatellites for BlackSky Global as rideshare payloads on this mission.

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on SpaceX’s drone ship “Of Course I Still Love You” stationed several hundred miles away in the Atlantic Ocean.

A pre-launch Moon halo was also on display! (Last photo)

Photos taken from SR 528 causeway, a distance of about 14 miles.
