January 6, 2014 - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket blasts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 40 on a mission to deliver the Thaicom 6 communications satellite into orbit. The liftoff at 5:06 p.m. EST was the second time in five weeks a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral.
