On November 6, 2020 at 6:24 p.m. EST, SpaceX launched the fourth GPS 3-series satellite, designated GPS 3 SV04, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.

The launch is the fourth in a new line of upgraded Global Positioning System navigation satellites that will add fresh capabilities to the GPS network while replacing an aging spacecraft launched more than 20 years ago.

Following stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster touched down on SpaceX’s drone ship “Of Course I Still Love You” positioned several hundred miles off Cape Canaveral in the Atlantic Ocean.

Photos taken from Kirk Point Riverside Park in Titusville, about 13.5 miles from launch pad.
