A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched a Crew Dragon spacecraft on its second operational flight with astronauts on-board to the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough, Megan McArthur, Japanese astronaut Akihiko Hoshide, and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet launched on the Crew Dragon spacecraft.
Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on SpaceX drone ship Of Course I Still Love You, stationed several hundred miles offshore in the Atlantic Ocean.
Launch photos taken from the Apollo/Saturn 5 Center - a distance of about 4 miles.
