Hosted by the Cultural Council of Indian River County, Summerfest 2013 continues its tour of Florida and South America in Vero Beach on Tuesday, July 30th at Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church.
Symphony of the Americas, under the baton of the Symphony's Artistic Director, Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, joins the I Musici Estensi Chamber Orchestra of Milan for this concert. Internationally known Italian composer, Lorenzo Turchi-Floris is Composer in Residence for Summerfest 2013 and premieres a piece on the musical program. Dr. Marcos Daniel Flores is guest conductor for Concerto Op.6, No. 12 by Evaristo Felice Dall'Abacvo also in its Florida premiere.
The evening includes a special Conductor's Master's Class and Reception before the concert.
