June 8, 2007 at 7:38 p.m. EDT, Space Shuttle Atlantis lifts-off fromPad 39-A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on an 11-day mission to the International Space Station. The mission was delayed 3 months due to hail damage to the external fuel tank. While docked to the ISS the seven-man crew will carry out three space walks installing a truss segment and solar panels.
