On Monday, February 6 at 8:32 p.m. ET, SpaceX launched the Hispasat Amazonas Nexus mission from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

This was the sixth launch and landing for this Falcon 9 first stage booster, which previously supported the launch of SES-22, ispace’s HAKUTO-R Mission 1, and three Starlink missions.

Amazonas Nexus, built by Thales Alenia Space, will provide broadband connectivity to airplanes, ships, and other mobile users across the Americas, Greenland, and travel corridors across the Atlantic Ocean.

Following stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster landed on SpaceX’s drone ship Just Read The Instructions positioned in the Atlantic Ocean.
