On June 30, 2021 at 3:31 p.m. EST, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Transporter 2 mission from SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. This was a rideshare flight that included 85 spacecraft and 3 Starlink satellites.

The Falcon 9 flew into a sun-synchronous polar orbit making it only the third time for a polar launch from the Space Coast in 60 years.

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage touched down at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
