On November 24, 2020 at 9:13 p.m. EST, SpaceX launched its 15th (16th overall) batch of Starlink satellites through a heavy cloud layer from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on SpaceX drone ship “Of Course I Still Love You” stationed several hundred miles offshore in the Atlantic Ocean.
The mission set a new record for SpaceX’s rocket reuse program. For the first time, a reusable Falcon 9 booster completed its seventh trip to space and back.
