January 20, 2017 - A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket blasts off from pad 41 at 7:42 p.m. carrying the U.S. military’s third Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous satellite, which will augment a ballistic missile early-warning detection system.
